The Armenian Defense Ministry told RFE/RL that Deputy Defense Minister Artur Aghabekian did not state that Slovakia was the supplier of ten military aircraft to Armenia last year. The ministry’s press service clarified that in his September 24 conversation with journalists Aghabekian confirmed only the fact of aircraft purchase by Armenia’s Air Force.
