The ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, while regretting the handling of the recent demonstrations in Yerevan, did not say what has been made to appear as direct quotes in Armenialiberty’s internet publication of April 15, 2004. He also did not “reveal” that EU ambassadors had met with President Kocharian. At the time of the interview the Armenian media had already reported on the fact of the meeting.
