Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian said on Friday that Armenia faces a problem with “overall literacy” after the country showed subpar performance in the first global assessment of students in which it has participated.
Armenian 15-year-olds scored below the international average in mathematics, science and reading, ranking behind regional peers in the latest global assessment conducted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
