BAKU, (Itar-Tass) - President Heydar Aliev told international mediators on Saturday that Azerbaijani society is losing hopes for a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and believes that it must itself liberate occupied territories.
Meeting the Russian, US and French co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group on Saturday, Aliev said he is concerned about the process of settling the conflict. He stressed that hundreds of thousand people are still suffering from it.
Aliev complained that international organizations ignore the fact that "Azerbaijani territories are occupied" and Armenia considers these territories as a "security zone".
