Russia To Consider Role In Building Iran-Armenia Pipeline
MOSCOW, (Itar-Tass) - Russia views with great attention the project to build an Iran-Armenia natural gas pipeline and is prepared to consider its own contribution to the project, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Khristenko declared during the course of an Internet press conference in the Russian government house.
According to khristenko, Russia thinks that the construction of pipelines must connect countries, not to draw dividing lines between them. In his view, competition is an integral part of such projects amd Moscow is ready to look for "mutually beneficial compromise solutions with Iran and Armenia."
