(Itar-Tass) - Russian border guards have detained two trespassers on the Armenian frontier, head of the Russian border force's Artashat unit Col. Vyacheslav Biryukov told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
The incident happened shortly after midnight. The two citizens of Turkey crossed the Armenian border and reached the second line of engineering entanglements, Biryukov said. They were stopped by a border patrol near the Araks River. The men said that they had been looking for their cattle in the border zone.
Yet as it was discovered later, according to Biryukov, no cattle had recently crossed the border line. The two are in custody in a detention ward. An official investigation
