Little Vardan collects empty bottles to buy clothes

Ten-year-old Vardan lives in the town of Abovyan, Armenia’s Kotayk province. He has to fend for himself by collecting empty bottles which he then cashes in. In an interview with Azatutyun TV the boy says he is saving up some money to buy “a top with flowers on it”. (Translated by Mariam Koloyan)
