MOSCOW, (AFP) - The parliamentary head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Adrian Severin, will embark on a Caucasus tour Sunday, beginning in Azerbaijan, pan-European security body announced.
Severin will also visit Georgia and Armenia during the October 21-29 regional swing "to acquire a deeper insight into the present situation in the region," according to the OSCE.
During his visits Severin will meet government and parliamentary officials as well as OSCE and other NGO representatives, according to the press release from the body's Copenhagen office. Severin represents more than 300 Members of Parliament from 55
OSCE participating states.
